A few years ago, while working at one of the big banks where I spent 10 years of my career, I was in the market to refinance my own mortgage.  Armed with insider knowledge of the industry, I shopped around with various banks, credit unions, online lenders, and local mortgage brokers, to find where I could obtain the most favorable loan terms for myself.  This is when I came across Loan Factory, who I didn’t know at the time, is one of the largest mortgage brokerages in the country. They had the best rates out there, which was substantially better than what I could get at my own bank, even with an employee discount!  So I ended up obtaining my own loan through Loan Factory.

Fast forward a few years, I decided to join the team at Loan Factory.  My mission today is to help people obtain the best mortgage possible for their needs.  And I know through personal experience, that this is where I can best accomplish that goal.  Furthermore, as a mortgage broker, you have the ability to determine how much compensation you receive on each loan.  The higher the amount of compensation, the higher the interest rates that will be offered to a customer, and the lower the compensation, the lower the interest rates will be. I’ve chosen the extremely uncommon approach of choosing a compensation level that is substantially less than most other brokers in the industry.  This allows me to be able to offer the absolute lowest possible interest rates to my customers, which I feel is in complete alignment with my mission and purpose.   

So while other lenders will discourage you from shopping around for rates, I actually encourage people to do so because I’m 100% confident that the rates I have to offer are some of the best in the industry.
